It's always hard to buy presents for my good friend Fi because she has very defined tastes, and it can often be difficult to predict on which side of the "like it/ don't like it" line an item will fall. So this year, when myself and a few others were racking our brains over what to give her for her 21st birthday, I came up with the idea of an illustration to hang on her bedroom wall.

From somewhere, an image had formed itself in my head so I sketched it, scanned it, and built it up in Illustrator... Although I did use reference pics of swans and owls to aid me! The colour scheme is purple to tie in with the furnishings in her bedroom.

The final artwork was signed and printed out in A2 size on canvas; dowel and cord were purchased; and the artwork turned into a wall hanging.

How lovely..and odd..
Purple is one of my 2 fav. colours and swans are my fav. birds...
The stars and te owl and the leaves...no need to say i love this..:)
